Lousianna Debris

As East Texas and Louisiana residents searched for debris from the Columbia Space Shuttle, many say they heard about large pieces that fell into Toledo Bend. Nothing was confirmed; although, one Louisiana resident did find something.
Helicopters swiftly moved into Vernon Parish Louisiana, just East of Toledo Bend Reservoir, to recover a piece of the space shuttle that was impacted deep into the earth.
Although the piece found was not very big, the force of impact was strong enough to cut a power line as it fell.
Authorities quickly dug about three feet to remove the object because of its importance to the investigation. Investigators left the motor in its place for NASA officials to pick it up.

Harvey was proud that he found the piece and was able to call authorities.
