9/15/09 Lufkin Police Report

Robbery, 400 Block N Timberland Drive: Complainant reported that he was robbed by two men from whom he was trying to buy marijuana early Tuesday morning.  The complainant said they got into an argument and the men shoved him against a vehicle and forcibly took $12 and a cigarette case from him.

Burglary/Vehicle, 700 Block Tom Temple Drive:  Complainant reported that a taillight was stolen from her car Monday evening and the thieves also broke into the trunk and stole the spare tire and a gas can.

Driving While Intoxication, Moss Street: A driver involved in a traffic crash Monday evening showed signs of intoxication.  Blood was drawn and the case is pending blood test results.

Theft/Felony, 3500 Block S First Street: Complainant reported that a known suspect stole her cell phone from her hand Monday.  Theft from the person of another is a felony, regardless of the value of the property.

Forgery/Counterfeit, 300 Block N Timberland Drive: Complainant reported that two counterfeit bills were received at a nightclub over the weekend.  Comp didn't know who may have passed the fake bills.

Criminal Mischief, 1900 Block Hill Street: Complainant reported that the brake line on her vehicle appears to have been cut sometime during the past few days.

Burglary, 1200 Block S Chestnut Drive: Complainant reported that two vehicles at his garage had windows broken out of them over the weekend.  One of the vehicles appeared to have been rummaged through but nothing was noted missing.

Forgery/Counterfeit, 400 Block Gaslight Boulevard: Complainant reported that a known suspect stole a prescription pad from a doctor's office and forged prescriptions.

Burglary, 600 Block Raguet Street:  Complainant reported that two stereos were stolen from her car early Monday morning.

Criminal Trespass, 500 Block N Timberland Drive: Complainant reported that someone entered a fenced storage area and stole an emblem off a vehicle stored there Sunday night.
