NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - The Stephen F. Austin football team is seeking their first 3-1 start since 2005.  Lumberjacks are riding a two game winning streak hosting North Dakota this Saturday.   North Dakota lost to Texas Tech 38-13 but beat Northwestern State 27-20.

"Since joining the FBS North Dakota has been very competitive," Stephen F. Austin third year head coach J.C.  Harper said.  "In 2006 they went to Northern Iowa and beat Northern Iowa at home, then last week they beat Northwestern at Northwestern obviously there a very tough team and they're going to give us everything we got."

The Lumberjacks will kick off Saturday night at 6:00pm, they will have a bye the following week before hosting Mcneese State at 6:00pm on October, 10th.
