NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A trial date has been set for a man accused of killing a Stephen F Austin State University student back in March of this year. Okeiron Bowser will go to trial for the murder, aggravated robbery and assault of Charles Frazar. Today Bowser had his final pre trial where attorneys set October 13 for jury selection. The trial will begin immediately afterwards. Frazar was a well liked film student. He was shot at his Nacogdoches apartment.
In another case, Anthony Tyrone Roberts will go on trial for capital murder early next year. He's accused of injuring 3-year-old Kaylan Broumley back in February. His final pre-trial is January 7th with jury selection scheduled for early February. The state Attorney General's office is assisting in the prosecution.
