HUNTINGTON, TX (KTRE) - A U-turn gone bad led to a man wrecking his car on Highway 69 South near Huntington.

According to DPS Trooper David Hendry, Chase Burnett was driving his Chevy Camaro southbound in the outside lane near the Lufkin Industries plant when he took a U-turn. William Kenner, driving a Dodge Ram in the inside lane, hit Burnett's car and sent him crashing into a fence on the opposite side of the highway.

Burnett was transported with injuries to a Lufkin hospital.

The driver of the Dodge, William Kenner, and a passenger were not injured.
