DIBOLL, TX (KTRE) - Former Diboll dynamo Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley had a career high game on a national stage on Monday Night Football. Against the much anticipated matchup of former Green Bay Packer quarterback Brett Favre now slinging the ball all over the field for the Minnesota Vikings.
Finley ended the game with a career high in yards and catches against the division foes from the NFC north. Finishing the game with 6 catches for 128 yards and one touchdown catch, one of his catches went for 62 yards.
Finley had a breakout game and now other teams around the NFL will have to gauge their defenses to play him as a pass catching threat that will eat you up with his athleticism.
Vikings Brett Favre and the Vikings won becomes the first quarterback in NFL history to beat all 32 teams. Finley and his Green Bay Packers teammates will have a bye next week; they are now 1-3 on the season. Minnesota Vikings have a short week and travels to play the St. Louis Rams, Vikings are now 4-0.
