LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - On Wednesday morning, the Angelina County Sheriff's Department and Lufkin Police Department searched a home suspected of illegal drug trafficking.

Fifty-seven year-old Larry Pearsons was renting the home located at 1104 North First Street.  He had a previous warrant out for motion to revoke probation over previous possession and delivery of crack/cocaine.  Upon entering the home, officials found a small amount of crack/cocaine and arrested Pearsons for possession and delivery of the drugs.

The cramped residence had no running water or electricity, and two prostitutes were staying at the location at the time of the bust.  They were released because no evidence could be found against them.

Police said there were quite a few complaints from neighbors about people coming in and out of the house.  By making the arrest, they feel they will help calm the nearby residents.
