Dracula provides Halloween entertainment

Lamp-Lite News Release

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS (KTRE) - Chills, thrills and comedy await you in the upcoming Lamp-Lite Playhouse production of "The Passion of Dracula," beginning Friday, October 23 and continuing for two week-ends.

"We're offering this show just in time for Halloween," said Lamp-Lite Director Sarah McMullan.  "It's back by popular demand," she added.

Based on Bram Stokers' horror story set in the misty 19th century English countryside, the play casts a Gothic spell!  Lamp-Lite favorite Chris Englert plays Dracula, with Justin Hughes as the brilliant Van Helsing.  Other performers include Matt and Victoria Perry, Charisse Glazener, Ron Hurst, Joe Ballenger, Garland Buffalo, and Bill Small.

Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. October 23, 24, 30 & 31, with 2 p.m. Sunday matinees on October 25 and November 1.

Now in its 39th season, the Lamp-Lite provides local live theatre that patrons have come to expect.  Interested persons may pick up tickets at the local outlets or by calling the theatre at (936) 564-8300.  Prices are $15 regular and $12 for seniors and students.  For more information:  lamplite@netdot.com and http://www.lamplitetheatre.org/
