LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Cody Dewayne Brown accepted a plea deal in district court. Brown pleaded guilty to two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and two counts of burglary of a habitation.
The incidents happened last December. The conditions of his plea include nine months of state jail time, but he will receive credit for time already served.
Brown will have four years of community supervision and will also be subjected to alcohol and drug testing, he must pay restitution, receive treatment, and keep a journal of his efforts to find a job.
