10/22/09 Nacogdoches Police Report

Hit and run; 3500 block of North Street. Complainant reported that an older model black pickup struck complainant's vehicle and left the scene.

Assault; 1700 block of East Main. Complainant reported that a known suspect choked the complainant during a disturbance.

Burglary of a building; 200 block of North Lanana. Complainant reported that unknown suspects forced entry into a office building at oak grove cemetery and removed a large quantity of toilet paper.

Theft of a check; 600 block of Margaret Drive. Complainant reported leaving an envelope containing a check on top of the mailbox. The envelope was gone before the postman arrived.

Possession of marijuana; 200 block of West Austin. Responding to a reckless driver call, officers found a suspect being detained by an off duty officer. The suspect was found to be in possession of a suspected marijuana cigarette. Austin Burnett was arrested.

DWI-DWLI; 3500 block of NW Stallings Drive. Officers responded to a reckless driver call. Officers stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver, Frederick Anthony. He was suspected of being intoxicated and found to have a suspended driver's license. He was arrested.

Theft; 400 block of Ridgewood Complainant reported the theft of an orange lawn mower from under a porch.

Aggravated assault; 1200 block of Spokane Street. Complainant reported that she was at a friend's house when someone knocked on the door. The victim opened the door and an unknown skinng black female stabbed the complainant in the palm of her hand with a crochet needle.
