11/03/09 Lufkin Police Report

Burglary, 2900 Block S John Redditt Drive: Complainant reported that she arrived home Monday evening and found her back door standing open.  Nothing was noted missing from the house.                    

Criminal Mischief, 2800 Block Paul Avenue:  Complainant reported that her car door was damaged when an unknown person tried to punch out the door lock in an apparent burglary attempt Monday.

Burglary/Vehicle, 400 Block N Timberland Drive: Complainant reported that two checks and some cash were stolen from his unlocked truck Monday afternoon.

Theft, 3500 Block S Medford Drive:  Complainant reported that she laid her phone down while shopping and forgot it. It was gone when she returned for it a short time later.

Criminal Mischief, 1800 Block W Frank Avenue:  Complainant reported that his vehicle was damaged in several areas last week when he parked it at a parking and caught a ride with a friend.

Burglary, 900 Block McGregor Street:  Complainant reported that a door window was broken out on her car Sunday night. Nothing was noted missing from the car.

Fraud, 800 Block Ellis Street:   Complainant reported that she tried to obtain natural gas service and was told that someone in Beaumont already had an account using her name and D.L. number.  The complainant said they were using the information without her knowledge or consent.

Burglary, 1200 Block Tom Temple Drive: Complainant reported that his home was broken into Monday and a TV, a drill and a video game console were stolen.

Burglary/Vehicle, 3500 Block S Medford Drive:   Complainant reported that her pickup was broken into Monday and a GPS unit was stolen.

Theft, 300 Block N Medford Drive: Complainant reported that her son lost his IPOD touch at school Friday.

Burglary/Vehicle, 2800 Block Paul Street: Complainant reported that a co-worker saw a man break into her car Monday.  The man fled when the co-worker confronted him.  The complainant wasn't sure if anything was missing from her car.

Burglary, 200 Block April Street:   Complainant reported that his shop was broken into Sunday night and a hand-made bow was stolen.  (Bow as in bow and arrow.)

Criminal Trespass, 1300 Block Ellis St: Complainant reported than a man was seen inside a vacant home Monday.  When confronted by the owner, the man said he was searching for scrap metal.

Burglary, 1300 Block Ellis St: Complainant reported that his house was broken into over the weekend and several electronic items and a container of change was stolen.

    The Zavalla Fire Department requested multiple tankers, Friday morning, after getting a call of a mobile home fire. The additional water was called in due to city's current water issues.
