LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The Angelina College Lady Roadrunners ran Eastern Oklahoma off the court on Wednesday night 101-78.  The 19th ranked Roadrunners had four players score in double figure in the blowout win.

New faces same old results for Angelina College they don't rebuild they reload.  Freshman Tyeka Ranton was superb in her debut for the Roadrunners scoring 20 points and snatching 12 rebounds.

Another freshman who also hails from Louisiana like Ranton was Careen Baylor, she shined scoring 13 points she was 2 for 2 from behind the three point line.

Two more players with outstanding games sophomore's Marcy Robinson added 14 points and had three steals and Keldra Hall had eight points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Angelina College coach Byron Coleman wasn't singing the praises after just one win.

"It's hard to argue with a 23-point victory, but if we're going to give up 78 points per game we're going to have trouble," Coleman said. I was impressed with our offense, with the way we attacked the basket.

"We're not as big overall as we were last season, so we're going to have to be a lot more sound defensively, and we're going to have to move better around the perimeter."

The Lady Roadrunners (1-0) will travel to Waco for the weekend's McLennan Classic at McLennan College, scheduled to run Friday and Saturday. AC will take on Weatherford College at 2 p.m. on Friday and McLennan at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
