Freedom Fighters: Bill Eaton

Bill Eaton was only 18 when he embarked on a journey that would take him through three wars.
During World War II, Eaton flew 25 bombing missions over Japan. although his B-29 was hit many times by anti aircraft flak, he always made it back to base.
During the Korean War, Eaton was in the Air Force Security Group that discovered that Russia and China had entered the war. When the Vietnam War began, Eaton volunteered for active duty and was assigned to the 7th Air Force Headquarters, programming operations.
Bill Eaton served in the U.S. Air Force 28 years, retiring in 1970 as a Lieutenant Colonel.
