Hit and run; 1600 block of Cardinal. Complainant reported that an unknown vehicle struck complainant’s vehicle and left the scene without providing information.
Burglary of a vehicle; 1700 block of Tanglewood Circle. Complainant reported that an unknown suspect entered a vehicle and stole two rings.
DWI; 4100 block of Center Highway. Officers responded to a reckless driver call. Officers stopped the vehicle at east main and university drive and contacted the driver. The driver was admitted to the hospital for medical issues, and a warrant has been requested for DWI.
DWI; loop 224 and Durst Street. Officers stopped a vehicle called in on as a reckless driver. Officers contacted the driver, Ernest Vazquea, and suspected him of being intoxicated. He was arrested.
Criminal mischief; 4600 block of North Street. A tire on a vehicle was punctured by an unknown suspect.
Hit and run; 3800 block of Rock Oak. A vehicle struck a house in the 3800 block of rock oak and the driver fled the scene on foot. Investigation is underway.
Sexual assault; 1200 block of North Mound. Complainant reported following a male suspect into a secluded area where a sex act occurred. No bodily injury reported-no weapons reported. Officers are still investigating.
Possession of marijuana; 2100 block of Banita Street. Officers stopped Christian Stokes for a traffic violation and smelled burning marijuana. Officers located a usable amount of suspected marijuana in the vehicle. He was arrested.
