Burglary/building, 300 block Pershing Avenue: Complainant reported that a guard shack at a local industrial complex was broken into Monday night and a microwave and a radio were stolen.
Criminal mischief, 3000 block First Street: Complainant reported that a door window was broken out of his pickup Monday night when a piece of porcelain was thrown through the window.
Theft, 4400 block Medford Drive: Complainant reported that a customer ate a meal and then said he didn’t have the money to pay like he thought he had. The man said he would come back and pay but never returned.
Theft, 1200 block Chestnut Drive: Complainant reported that a known suspect stole a 30-pack of beer from a store Monday night.
Burglary, 500 block Laurel Avenue: Complainant reported that his home was broken into Monday evening and a laptop computer, some food items, some coins and a half bottle of whiskey were stolen.
Theft, 4600 block Medford: Complainant reported he laid his cell phone on a counter at a theater Monday evening and someone took it.
Assault, 4300 block s Medford Drive: Complainant reported that her ex-boyfriend was texting and threatening her and coming by her place of employment.
Burglary/vehicle, 4500 block S Medford: Complainant reported that her car was entered and the stereo stolen while she was shopping Monday.
Burglary/habitation, 1000 block Idylwood Street: Complainant reported that her home was broken into Monday and two televisions, dozens of dvd movies, some cash and other electronic items were stolen.
Unauthorized Use of 3000 Block S First Street: Complainant reported that her car was stolen from outside her apartment Sunday night. The car was recovered in San Augustine County Monday, burned.
Harassment, 1600 block Airport Road, Complainant reported ongoing harassment from an ex boyfriend. She reported the he called or texted over 500 times over the weekend.
Burglary/habitation, 100 block s First Street: Complainant reported that his home was entered Sunday while he was away and a briefcase containing some religious artifacts was stolen.
Assault/Aggravated, 100 block Brentwood Drive: Two people reported that a known suspect hit them with a car on purpose during a disturbance over the purchase of a dog. The driver said she was trying to leave and the couple jumped in front and behind her car to try and stop her and she wasn’t trying to hit anyone. There were no injuries and the matter has been referred to detectives.
