Nacogdoches High athletic director retiring

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - The head football coach and athletic director at Nacogdoches High is retiring, he confirmed today.

Bill Harper, who brought the Nacogdoches Dragons back to the playoffs in 2007 after a 15-year hiatus, coached NHS for four years, going 20-21.

Harper was previously an assistant and head coach at Marshall High. He was part of the 1990 state championship team before taking it over from 1991 to 2001.
