NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) – Our Jack of the Week is junior defensive tackle Kenneth Charles. He is a menace to opposing quarterbacks; he's mean but a soft spoken teddy bear at heart.
"I don't really care how big I am I can be 230 pounds as long as my heart is bigger than yours if I got the plan to win and to do my best I know I will be fine," Charles said.
Defensive tackles coach Kurt Corbin said that something clicked for Charles over the summer everything just fell into place.
"He's been huge the last two spring practices we saw the light going on with Kenneth. I'll tell you what he did a nice job over the summer he didn't miss a day in the weight room got his body right where he can explode out a little bit better. Really been competing playing hard for us and playing a lot of snaps for us," Corbin said.
For Charles it's all about pride and muscling up on Saturday afternoon.
"I feel our team we're going to continue to do our thing and do what we do and ball out. We're going to make it happen and get that ring," Charles said.
Kenneth Charles big man in the middle who will be looking to maul some demons with the chief on the line, Kenneth Charles is your Jack of the Week.
