NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A 55-year-old Mississippi man who died from symptoms of H1N1 had underlying conditions before he contracted the flu, the state health department said Friday.

Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital had previously stated he had no underlying conditions.

A 53-year-old man, the victim's roommate, is still listed in critical condition at the hospital with symptoms of H1N1.

Health officials are holding a drive-through flu shot clinic from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the Nacogdoches County Exposition Center. About 1,500 vials of the vaccine will be available.
