11/20/09 Nacogdoches Police report

Criminal mischief; 1100 block of Mockingbird Lane. An unknown suspect shattered a vehicle window with a rock.

Theft of a firearm-burglary of a building-burglary of a vehicle; 200 block of West Seale. Complainant’s vehicle and garage were entered by an unknown suspect. A pistol was taken from a vehicle.

 Possession of a controlled substance; 900 block of South University. Suspect was stopped on traffic and was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was also found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine. Prentis  Minnifield was arrested.

Disorderly conduct-unlawful carrying of a weapon; 800 block of Oakview. Officers received a call of a suspect waiving a gun while involved in a disturbance. Officers located the vehicle and arrested Anthony Evans. A pistol was recovered from the vehicle.

DWI; 100 block of North Street. Officers responded to a minor accident. Officers contacted one of the drivers, Kip Tindell, was suspected of being intoxicated and  was arrested.

DWI; 100 block of Powers Street. Officers stopped a vehicle for traffic. Roger Juarez was suspected of being intoxicated and was arrested.

    Temporarily calling the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter a home, Remi is hoping to find something a little more permanent. Caretakers said the one-year-old dog is playful and loves attention. Remi was brought into the shelter as a stray about three weeks ago. "He gets along with the other dogs.
