HUNTINGTON, TX (KTRE)- Huntington is preparing for their annual Christmas parade, which will take place Saturday morning, starting at the intersection of Mulberry and Fifth. Several local organizations will be involved, including Second Blessings, which will be represented by a surprise float of their own.
Starting at 10:00 am, Second blessings will be hosting several activities including food, music, and games. And, they'll be joining forces with Texas Road Riders Motorcycle Association to deliver toys in style.
"There will be several motorcyclists from this group coming through the parade with their toys, bringing them to our toy drive. And then they'll park their motorcycles here and we'll have a motorcycle show right out here to the side of the building," said Second Blessings director Vivian Henson.
Second Blessings toy drive allows toys for all ages, especially targeting teenagers. They are also collecting food, and say their food pantry is lower than ever. They appreciate any incoming donations this holiday season.
