NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE)- It may have been chilly in East Texas, but that didn't stop hundreds of people from heading to downtown Nacogdoches for the annual Nine Flags parade. It's the largest parade in East Texas with more than three million festive holiday lights.
Music and cheering filled the streets as the parade made it's way down Main street.
One of this year's highlights was the Budweiser Clydesdales. It was a cold night, but people were cheering and waving as the floats passed.
"It kicks off the Christmas season for us," said Mindy Langford.
And for 12-year-old Keyone Powors, his parade highlight was, "all the Christmas lights and Santa."
