Unauthorized Use of 300 Block W Kerr Street: Officers responding to a suspicious vehicle complaint located a car that was reported stolen out of Smith Co.  The car was unoccupied and was impounded pending contact with the registered owner.

   

Theft, 300 Block House Street: Complainant saw a man steal a lawn chair from a house and followed the suspect.  The suspect's license plate number was captured on a red light camera photo when the complainant saw him run a red light on Loop 287.  The suspect was able to get away.

 

Deadly Conduct, 2500 Block Daniel Mccall Drive: Four women reported that an unknown female suspect pulled a knife on them after running into one of them inside a store with a shopping cart.  The man with the female suspect also threatened to beat the women who had been standing in an aisle talking when one of them was bumped by the female suspect's cart.

 

Dead on Scene, 1200 Block W Frank Avenue: A 76 year old man was pronounced dead on arrival at a hospital Monday afternoon.  There were no outward signs of foul play.

  

Theft, 1200 Block Morningside Street:  Complainant reported that some cash was stolen from her home Monday.

 

Theft,  900 Block S Medford: Complainant reported that he gave a ride to a known suspect last week who stole a box of tools from the complainant's truck when he got out.

      

Criminal Trespass, 1200 Block S Chestnut: Complainant reported that a known suspect came into a store and stole a bottle of beer Monday and that the suspect has already been warned of trespassing at the location.

 

Forgery/Counterfeit, 2100 Block S First Street: Complainant reported that an unauthorized transaction was made on his debit card in Paris, France.

 

Theft, 500 Block S Chestnut: Complainant reported that a wrought iron set of patio furniture was stolen from outside a store over the Thanksgiving weekend.

 

Criminal Mischief, 2700 Block Martin Luther King Boulevard:  Complainant reported that a fence surrounding a lumber yard was cut over the weekend.  Nothing was noted missing from the yard at the time of the report.

 

Theft/Felony, 1900 Block S First Street:  Complainant reported that his vehicle was broken into Sunday night and a cell phone, stereo equipment and a GPS unit were stolen.

 

Theft, 4100 Block S Medford:  Complainant reported that gasoline was siphoned from two vehicles over the weekend.

 

Assault,   3500 Block N John Redditt:   Complainant reported that her boyfriend shoved her down three times during an argument Monday.  The complainant had some scratches on her arm and sought medical treatment because she's pregnant.

 

Assault/Aggravated, 1700 Block N First St: Complainant reported that a known suspect hit her in the face with a broom handle Monday during an argument.  The complainant had visible bruising to her face.

 

Burglary, 1100 Block Medford: Complainant reported that a fenced storage area was entered Sunday night and a trailer and three commercial zero-turn mowers were stolen.

 

Theft, 2500 Block Daniel Mccall: Complainant reported that he was approached by two men wanting him go gamble with them inside a store Sunday afternoon.  He gave one of the men $300 to wager and the two suspects left with his money and no gambling took place.  The suspects were two Hispanic males who spoke Spanish.
