LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – A judge found Johnx Greer guilty of aggravated robbery Wednesday afternoon.

Greer was on trial for his involvement in an October 2008 robbery where Greer and a second suspect tried to rob a Papa John's pizza delivery person. Greer and the other suspect approached the victim, armed with handguns, and then demanded the victim's cell phone and money.

However, the delivery man, who had a concealed carry permit, pulled his gun and shot Greer.

The bullet is still lodged in Greer's body.  Greer claims he had no involvement in the incident.

Greer requested a Pre-sentence Investigation Report, so another court hearing will be scheduled at a later date before he is sentenced.
