Proud Of East Texas: Christmas House

At Kathryn Burnett's special Christmas House in Yantis, it's Christmas throughout the year. Eighteen years ago, Burnett began collecting Christmas ornaments and the collection grew so extensive, her husband Billy built her a special Christmas house, known officially as "Mama Kat's."

The house, which contains a kitchen, bath and large eating and sitting rooms, is lined with mirror-backed shelves filled with thousands of ornaments. The Christmas house has become a family gathering place where the family can celebrate Christmas every day of the year.
