12/31/09 Nacogdoches Police report

Burglary, 2100 Stewart Street: Victim stated he left this residence two months ago.  He checked on it today and found a 20" Sanyo TV missing.

Theft, 1700 E. Starr Drive: Victim reported his 2005 black and gray Yamaha XT 225 duel sport motorcycle missing. (3DT658) It was parked with the front wheel locked.

Theft, 3800 Raguet Street: Complainant stated that sometime between the 26th and 27th unknown persons entered his unlocked vehicle and removed a stainless .44 revolver from inside the vehicle.

Burglary, 1000 Jack Lock Street: Complainant stated that she left the residence at approx. 0800 and returned at approx. 2000 to find the front door forced open. Several electronic items, some jewelry and some medication were found missing.

Assault, 1500 S. Fredonia Street: Officers responded to the area of 1500 S Fredonia St regarding a disturbance. Victim stated that she and her boyfriend, Kelvin Barnes, became involved in an argument after he informed her that the car they were in was stolen. She would not get in the car with Barnes and he assaulted her. She fled on foot and contacted the police. While officers were still on scene, Barnes returned on foot. Officers contacted him and he was arrested for the assault. He told officers where they could find the car. It was located and found to be reported stolen out of Lake Charles LA.  Barnes was arrested.

DWI, 3800 North Street: Officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was contacted and identified as Raul Alvarez. He was found to be intoxicated and was arrested.

Burglary, 2700 North Street: Officers responded to Days Inn regarding a burglary. Officers contacted complainant who stated that she left another woman in her room for a short period of time. When she returned to the room and that woman told her two subjects had entered the room, pointed a gun at her, and took money only from complainant's purse.
