1/08/10 Nacogdoches Police report

3200 Pearl St. (BMV) The complainant reported someone had entered his vehicle and left a brown wallet a pair of binoculars inside.  Officer found an ID inside the wallet and located the owner.  The wallet's owner had her car entered last Monday and an old purse with the wallet was taken then.

 

800 Lucas St (Criminal Mischief) Officer contacted complainant who stated that a known subject damaged her car. She stated the she was dropping her kids off at her mother's house when the subject approached her and they began to argue.  Subject kicked her windshield, breaking it and broke off one of her outside mirrors and then the interior rear-view mirror.

 

2900 North St  (Theft) Officer responded to NPD lobby regarding a pigeon drop. Complainant stated that he was approached by an unknown BM who began asking him to help locate a church in town. He agreed to help and gave the BM a ride. They went to the area of Burger King where this BM contacted another BM who was walking in the area. He convinced Complainant to give this BM a ride also so he could show them where a church was located. Once both BMs were in the vehicle the first suspect stated he was from South Africa and wanted to give each of them $50,000.00 because he couldn't take the money back with him. He stated they would both have to prove they were hard working men first. Complainant agreed to withdraw money from his bank account to prove he had a job. He withdrew money from his account and gave it to the BM. The BM stated he would put the $50,000.00 in a bandana and put it in his trunk. The BM put the bandana in the trunk and left. The victim drove to the parking lot, opened his trunk and removed the bandana. It was found to contain newspaper.

 

2200 South St (Sexual Assault) Officers responded to this address regarding a disturbance. Officers contacted complainant and her husband. They had been arguing over child custody. Complainant told officers she wanted to leave her husband and wanted to take their children with her. Two of the children did not want to go with her. When officers informed her they did not have the authority to interfere with custody without court papers she stated that he had sexually assaulted her. She claimed that he has sexually assaulted her every night since 11-16-09.  She had married him on 11-30-09.

 

2100 Woden Rd  (DWI) Officers were on patrol and observed a possible intoxicated driver. Officers stopped the vehicle and contacted driver Robert Sterns. He was found to be intoxicated and was arrested.

 

4600 NE Stallings Dr  (Telephone Harassment) Complainant stated that she has received several threatening calls from a female known to her. She wished to pursue charges.

 

4500 North St.  (Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity F3) Officers responded to the Exxon store and Donut Plus regarding a business alarm. Officers located forced entry and contacted a key holder. While officers were investigating this call, officers were also investigating a suspicious vehicle call across the street. Officers were able to get vehicle information and track down the vehicle at it's residence. Deputies contacted the vehicle and it's owner, Antonio Morales Jr. Officers responded there and he was arrested.
