TYLER, TX (KLTV) - It was a day of fun and learning at the Discovery Science Place in downtown Tyler for 11-year-old Clifford. One of our first activities was coloring dinosaurs!

The energetic child loves going to the mall and eating out. Clifford also loves sports, but also enjoys just hanging out with his friends. Clifford has been diagnosed with a medical condition that limits his ability to play contact sports. Plus, he really likes spook houses and video games.

Clifford loves science but doesn't like math. He wants to be a police officer when he grows up.

Why?

"Because it helps people," he said.

He has a strong will and likes to get his way. Clifford needs a family who can help him have patience and focus his energy in a positive direction.

"I would definitely go to LA," said Clifford.

Clifford will need help at school to stay on target. At home, Clifford is helpful and responds well to praise and encouragement. Clifford has a big heart, as seen in his three wishes.

"[I want] to meet my parents, to have a friend and my third wish would be to help more people," he said.

Clifford needs a forever family who will love him unconditionally and provide him with the reassurance he needs to develop trust in those closest to him.

Clifford is unsure what the future holds for him now, but is looking forward to having a forever family of his own, one that can show him the gift of love!

More than a few tar-covered tires are hanging on to the parking lot of a Lufkin tire shop.  On August 31, newly laid asphalt on Loop 287 started sticking to tires of those driving, leaving many of the cars un-driveable. As of Friday, the Texas Department of Transportation hadn't come out with an official cause for the incident, but that hasn't stopped over 600 people from filing claims with them.
