ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Angelina County Sheriff's deputies made two arrests in a suspected home meth lab bust Thursday afternoon, in a residence off of State Highway 103 east.
According to Sgt. Allen Hill, the duo were known to cook meth for themselves and selling off what was left over to fund the habit.
"Although its not a big operation," Hill said. "She's one of them cooks small amounts, but cooks as she gets pills and supplies she cooks."
Hill said deputies found components of a meth lab and one gram of cooked meth at the residence of Kelly Johnson, 41.
Along with Johnson, Kathy Allen was also arrested. Hill said Johnson let Allen live at his home to help cook the meth.
Hill said possession charges will be filed on both suspects.
