The city of San Augustine lifts boil water notice Saturday

The city of San Augustine has lifted the boil water notice, deeming water safe as of Saturday.

The city was asking residents to boil their water due to main line breaks and low water pressure to ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes.

The city says it's no longer necessary to adhere to these guidelines, and the water is now safe for drinking, cooking, and other basic uses.
