LONDON (AP) - Clint Dempsey's right knee won't need surgery,
according to Fulham, and he's expected to be playing in time for
the World Cup.
Dempsey hurt his knee playing in Sunday's Premier League game at
Blackburn. Fulham said Tuesday following a scan that he sustained
moderate damage.
The Cottagers say they expect him to play for the club before
the Premier League season ends in May.
