Baton Rouge, Louisiana-AP -- Police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, have a hostage situation on their hands involving a five-year-old boy.Police say it began when they confronted a suspect in two carjackings. The suspect ran into a school and grabbed a kindergartner, apparently at random, then holed up in a vacant house and started shooting.Police have evacuated the neighbors and the child's parents are on the scene.Police say they're not sure why the suspect was at the school. They don't have a name or age on him yet.A parent says she saw the man walk out of the school with a gun in one hand and the child in the other. She says the child didn't seem to be afraid.
