Criminal Mischief, 1825 Sayers Street: At approximately 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 25, 2010, a window was damaged on a black-in-color Chrysler PT Cruiser while the vehicle was parked at 1825 Sayers Street.  According to the report, the female complainant stated that she did not witness her vehicle's passenger side window being broken but just prior to the damage occurring she was standing near her vehicle and exchanged words with a known male subject.  The report stated that the male subject is known to the complainant because of his relationship with her cousin and that complainant believed this male subject may have caused the damage to the vehicle because she, while in the presents of the male's friends, confronted him regarding him not being faithful to her cousin.

 

Burglary/Habitation, 1000 Block Sayers Street: Between the hours of 10:00 P.M. on Monday, January 25, 2010 and 12:20 A.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, a residence located in the 1000 block of Sayers Street was burglarized.  According to the report, the actor(s) forced entry into the residence by kicking open the residence's rear entry door, and that a Sony brand Playstation 3 gaming system and approximately $800.00 cash was removed from the residence.  The report stated that the victims were away from the residence when the burglary occurred and that they believed that they may have been lured away from the residence so that the burglary could occur.

 

Theft, 904 South John Redditt Drive: At approximately 9:00 A.M. on Monday, January 25, 2010, a female complainant lost her wallet in a convenient store located at 904 South John Redditt Drive.  According to the report, the complainant realized that she lost her wallet in the store but when she returned to the store a store employee informed her that "an older couple" had located the wallet and, after reading the complainant's Huntington address from the identification card located inside of the wallet, stated to the employee that they were going to Huntington and would deliver the wallet.  The report stated that the wallet had not been returned as of 8:00 P.M. that date.

 

Theft, 4600 South Medford Drive: At approximately 2:40 P.M. on Monday, January 25, 2010, a shipment of athletic shoes intended for a Lufkin Mall store, located at 4600 South Medford Drive, was stolen.  According to the report, while the delivery driver was gathering shipping boxes from his vehicle, two unknown male subjects took a shipping box left by the driver on the ground next to the vehicle and fled the area by vehicle.  The report stated that a witness described the suspects as young, black, males, one of whom was possibly wearing a Lufkin Panther jacket, and that the witness provided the responding Lufkin Police Department Officers with the license plate number of the suspects' blue-in-color Chevrolet vehicle.

 

 

Theft, 1300 Block North First Street: At approximately 11:30 A.M. on Monday, January 25, 2010, an iron gate was stolen from a residence located in the 1300 block of North First Street.  According to the report, the victim stated that his iron gate had previously been damaged and that this date he observed several unknown subjects stealing the gate by placing it into a pickup truck and fleeing the area.  The report stated that the victim described the pickup truck as blue-in-color with a yellow-in-color stripe.

 

Theft, 100 Block Mistywood Circle: Between the hours of 12:15 A.M. and 10:00 A.M. on Monday, January 25, 2010, a "spoiler" was removed from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Mistywood Circle.  According to the report, the victim stated that sometime over the previous night the rear "spoiler" was stolen from her 2000 year model Saturn vehicle.
