Rusk Co. authorities need your help in double homicide

RUSK COUNTY, TX - On Monday, January 25, at approximately 2:30 pm, Rusk County Sheriff's Office received a call to respond to County Road 4248, in Southwest Rusk County.  County Road 4248 is located in the Fairview Community, Northeast of the city of Reklaw.  The call was in reference to two male suspects lying on the roadway, with what appeared to be blood stains on their bodies.

Upon arrival of Law Enforcement, Officers found two Hispanic male victims, one lying in the center of the road, and the second victim along the south edge of the roadway.  The victim lying along the edge of the roadway was able to speak to a witness and give information concerning the incident before expiring.

The victims have been identified and family members notified.  Victim one was identified as Rigoberto Tovar Pina, white male, date of birth; 01-06-1981, address; 1827 CR 3754, Center, Texas. Victim two identified as Steve Abran Parra, white male, date of birth; 04-21-1982, and address being the same as victim one.  Rusk County Justice of Peace, Precinct 4, Darlene Childress held inquest.

The vehicle missing from location, believed to belong to victim Pina is a 1996 Cadillac 4 door, Green over Green, bearing Texas 975-RFY.  Vehicle has damage to the right rear passenger side.  Two Black male suspects are being pursued in the victims' vehicle.

Sheriff Danny Pirtle, advised that the Rusk County Sheriff's Office, Rusk County District Attorney Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Rangers, Federal Bureau of Investigation, ATF, and Rusk County Constable Precinct 4, are involved with this case. Through diligent work of all involved, this case will be completed and suspects arrested.

    A female juvenile who has been missing from Shreveport, LA since Dec.19, 2016, turned herself into the Shelby County Sheriff's Office Saturday morning.  According to Shelby County Sheriff Willis Blackwell, around 10:47 a.m. Natalyia Theresa Rogers entered the SCSO and spoke with Deputy Peter Davis.
