1/27/10 Lufkin Police report

Burglary/Vehicle, 200 Block South Timberland Drive: At approximately 9:30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, a vehicle was burglarized while parked at a business located in the 200 block of South Timberland Drive.  According to the report, a GPS unit was removed from the vehicle and the victim stated that, at the time of the incident, the vehicle's doors were locked but the vehicle's window is defective and can be forced open.

 

Burglary/Vehicle, 300 Block North Bynum Street: Between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, a vehicle was burglarized while parked at a business located in the 300 block of North Bynum Street.  According to the report, the vehicle's passenger side window was broken and the victim's purse was removed from the vehicle; the purse contained the victim's driver's license, social security card, and debit card.

 

Assault/Aggravated, 1600 Block Sunrise Avenue: At approximately 9:40 P.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, a female victim was stabbed while outside a residence located in the 1600 block of Sunrise Avenue.  According to the report, the victim and the male suspect argued over the suspect stealing the victim's makeup bag and identification card and the suspect stabbed the victim in her lower, left side of her back.  The report stated that the victim described the weapon as a pocket knife and that the victim and witnesses provided responding Lufkin Police Department Officer a description of the suspect and the suspect's nickname.

 

Indecent Exposure, 300 Block South John Redditt Drive: At approximately 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, an unidentified male subject exposed his genitals and fondled himself in the presence of a juvenile female.  According to the report, the juvenile heard a knock at the bedroom window of her apartment, located in the 300 block of South John Redditt Drive, and when she looked through the window blinds she observed a white, male subject fondling his genitals.  The report stated that the juvenile immediately notified her parent and her parent notified Lufkin Police Department. The report stated that the juvenile and a neighbor each provided descriptions of the suspect, that the neighbor described a vehicle in which the suspect fled, and that evidence was collected at the scene.

 

Burglary/Habitation, 1700 Block Allendale Drive: Between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, a residence located in the 1700 block of Allendale Drive, was burglarized.  According to the report, a comforter, a television, and a computer were removed from the residence and the victim stated that a family member may have committed the burglary.

 

Burglary, 2700 Block Paul Avenue: Between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, a residence located in the 2700 block of Paul Avenue, was burglarized.  According to the report, the actor(s) forced entry into the residence by kicking open a side entry door into the residence and two televisions were removed from the residence.

    Temporarily calling the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter a home, Remi is hoping to find something a little more permanent. Caretakers said the one-year-old dog is playful and loves attention.
