LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – TxDOT is gearing up for the final phase of the U.S. 59 project.
TxDOT said they are months ahead of schedule and plan on finishing around the end of April. They will still have some final touches to put on the project then, but traffic will be flowing again. Also, there will be some closures coming up the first week of February as road crews work on the south and northbound direct connectors.
Check with KTRE and ktre.com for the latest road closures as TxDOT makes them available.
