FORT POLK, LA (KTRE) -Vernon Parish Sheriff's deputies and the U.S. Marshal's Office have arrested the man accused of killing a liquor store owner in late January.
According to Shelby County Sheriff Newton Johnson, authorities arrested Roger Dale Clifton, Jr. in Fort Polk, La., at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Clifton is charged with capital murder. He is accused of shooting Bobby Lynn Carlton, 57, in the head. She was found dead last Wednesday at Lil' Goat's Liquor, outside Garrison in Shelby County.
