LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Day four of the trial of a Lufkin woman charged in the death of a toddler included testimony from the boy's aunt.
Michelle Landers, the sister of Scott Landers, said she was told 2-year-old Ian had "knocked himself unconscious."
She testified her brother told her Ian was standing on his head, trying to do a flip and then knocked himself out.
As soon as she was made aware Ian was at Memorial Health System, she said she went to the hospital.
"When I got there he was hooked up to the machines and they were getting ready to life flight him," Landers testified.
The prosecution asked her to describe Wideman's demeanor at the hospital in Houston Sept. 1.
"No emotion," she replied.
