LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Criminal Trespass, 700 Block North Raguet Street: At approximately 10:30 P.M. on Monday, February 15, 2010, Lufkin Police Department Officers were called to a business located in the 700 block of North Raguet Street in reference to a known male suspect who had violated a Criminal Trespass Warning. According to the report, earlier that date the suspect received a Criminal Trespass Warning form from a Lufkin Police Department Officer prohibiting his return to the business and the suspect returned to the business and threatened to injury the business owner.
Theft, 3400 Block South Chestnut Drive: On Monday, February 15, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between the hours of 1:00 P.M. and 4:30 P.M. this date she went to a business located in the 3400 block of South Chestnut Drive and that later that date she realized that she could not locate her mobile telephone. According to the report, the complainant stated that she believes that someone may have grabbed her cell phone while she was in the store.
Assault, 1300 Block East Lufkin Avenue: At approximately 3:00 P.M. on Monday, February 15, 2010, a female juvenile was assaulted by a male juvenile in the 1300 block of Lufkin Avenue. According to the report, the complainant stated that she and the suspect were playing together but the playing became serious and the suspect pushed her down causing her stomach to strike an unknown object. The report stated that the suspect was no longer on scene and that the complainant stated that she felt pain but did not wish to pursue a charge of Assault against the suspect.
Disturbance/Domestic, 1600 Block Long Avenue: At approximately 12:30 P.M. on Monday, February 15, 2010, an adult male was assaulted by his adult female sister in their residence located in the 1600 block of Long Avenue. According to the report, the complainant stated that he and the suspect were watching television and drinking beer when they began to argue about the beer and the suspect pushed the complainant and threw a knife in his direction. The report stated that the suspect was no longer on scene, that the knife did not impact strike or injury the complainant, and that the complainant stated that he did not wish to pursue a charge of Assault against the suspect.
Forgery/Counterfeiting, 800 Block Pershing Avenue: Between the hours of 12:30 P.M. and 2:00 P.M. on Monday, February 15, 2010, a female suspect attempted to pass a fraudulent check at a business located in the 800 block of Pershing Avenue. According to the report, the suspect had previously passed fraudulent checks at the business so the business owner refused to accept the check and contacted Lufkin Police Department. The report stated that the business owner followed the suspect as she walked away from the scene to a nearby residence. Responding Lufkin Police Department Officers contacted the suspect and took her into custody for outstanding warrants. According to the report, the Officers, with the assistance of the business owner, were able to collect evidence concerning the check forgery.
