Trinity County man officially charged with murder

GROVETON, TX (KTRE) - The Trinity County man arrested for the death of his mother and shooting his stepfather has been formally charged.

Michael Baker, 47, is charged with one count of murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond is set at $1.5 million.

The stepdad, H.F. Stewart, is out of the hospital and recovering at his Glendale home.
