AC Roadrunner softball splits at Temple - KTRE.com | Lufkin and Nacogdoches, Texas

   The Angelina College Lady Roadrunner softball team moved to 8-2 on the season with a split in Temple, losing the opener 3-1 before bouncing back to take the nightcap 6-5 after yet another final at-bat comeback.

    The Lady Roadrunners will travel to Trinity Valley on Tuesday.

    In Waco, the Roadrunner baseball team also earned a split, losing Game 1 by a 7-2 count before rallying to take Game 2 by a 15-6 margin -- this after trailing 6-2 in the first inning.

    The Roadrunners will host a doubleheader with Temple on Saturday, with the first game set for 2 p.m.
