POLLOK, TX (KTRE) - Central volunteer firefighters spent Thursday night and Friday putting out a fire which destroyed a Pollok home.
According to Assistant Fire Chief Dennis Cochran, firefighters were first called to the house on Quincy Road around 11 p.m. Thursday. The fire destroyed the home. Cochran said it appeared to start in the utility room.
Nobody was hurt in the fire.
Firefighters from Central, Hudson and Rivercrest responded to it again at 6 a.m. Friday when it re-ignited.
At about 12:30 p.m. Friday, KTRE's Holley Nees and Brad Hill arrived on the scene to record the scene. While they were there, they noticed a small fire igniting again and called 911. Central firefighters again responded to extinguish it.
