Lufkin woman pleads guilty to Whataburger robbery

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin woman accused of robbing a person in the drive-through of a fast-food restaurant pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated robbery and drug possession.

According to a previous report, Leanne Luna and three others robbed a person at Whataburger on Timberland Drive in Aug. 2008. Lufkin Police spotted the getaway car on Locke Street and found a pellet gun used in the robbery. They also found Luna to be in possession of cocaine.

Luna pleaded guilty without a plea agreement and will face sentencing at a later date.
