Burglary/Habitation, 2100 Block Nile Street: Between the hours of 12:00 P.M. and 11:45 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a residence located in the 2100 block of Nile Street. According to the report, the actor(s) removed from the residence a video game system and video games, a computer, and a safe. The report stated that the complainant discovered the front entry door to the residence open but did not state whether the door had been left unlocked or forced open.
Theft, 3500 South First Street: Between the hours of 12:00 P.M. and 11:45 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) stole a wallet from a victim's jacket as the victim played basketball on the campus of Angelina College. According to the report, the victim stated that the wallet was stolen from his jacket pocket and that his mobile telephone was stolen from the same gymnasium previously this year.
Deadly Conduct , 400 Block Martin Luther King Boulevard: At approximately 6:15 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2010, a known suspect displayed a firearm in the 400 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard. According to the report, the complainant reported that while picking up his child from the child's mother's residence, the mother's boyfriend displayed a firearm in manner threatening to the complainant and later drove passed the complainant's residence. The report stated that the suspect was located by Lufkin Police Officers but was not found to be in possession of a firearm and denied having displayed a firearm.
Burglary, 2600 Block South First Street: Between the hours of 12:00 P.M. and 11:45 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized an apartment located in the 2600 block of South First Street. According to the report, the actor(s) forced open an entry door to the apartment and removed from the residence a video game system, two televisions, two laptop computers, a digital camera, and forced open a safe and removed cash from it. The report stated that the victims later reported that a known suspect was bragging about having committed the burglary and possessing the victims' property.
Assault, 1000 Block Sayers Street: At approximately 2:40 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2010, a female complainant reported that her husband pushed her and looked as if he "wanted to hit her" during an argument over bills. According to the report, the responding Lufkin Police Department Officers did not observe signs of injury and the complainant did not complain of injury or pain. According to the report, the suspect stated that he did not assault the complainant and that the argument was concerning his wife's fourth incident of infidelity, not household bills.
Theft, 900 Block South John Redditt Drive: At approximately 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2010, an unidentified suspect stole a pair of sunglasses from a business located in the 900 block of South John Redditt Drive. According to the report, security video cameras capture the suspect's actions as she placed a pair of sunglasses, of the value of $234.00, into her purse and exited the business without making payment. The report described the suspect as a white, female, approximately 50 to 65 years old, and stated that the suspect stole the sunglasses as an employee of the business was attempting to repair a pair of glasses the suspect brought with her into the business.
Burglary/Vehicle, 400 Block North Timberland Drive: Between the hours of 5:30 A.M. and 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 25, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle, parked outside of a grocery store located in the 400 block of North Timberland Drive. According to the report, the actor(s) forced open entry into the vehicle by breaking a window and removed from the vehicle a car radio, video monitors, and car audio amplifiers.
