3/3/10 Lufkin Police report

Criminal Mischief                            3600 Block Edwards Avenue

At approximately 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, a known female suspect reportedly damaged a window of a residence located in the 3600 block of Edwards Avenue.  According to the report, the suspect used a rock the break a window of a residence belonging to the mother of her ex-boyfriend.  The report stated that the suspect fled the area prior to the arrival of Lufkin Police Department Officers and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Robbery/Aggravated                             300 Block Persimmon Avenue

At approximately 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, an unidentified male suspect reportedly committed Aggravated Robbery in the 300 block of Persimmon Avenue.  According to the report, the adult, male complainant reported that an unidentified male suspect approached him, displayed a knife, demanded money, cut him, and took $10 from his pocket.  The report stated that the complainant had several lacerations to his abdomen but refused to be transported to the hospital, and that the complainant described the suspect as a black, male wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants, and white shoes.  The report stated that responding Lufkin Police Department Officers were not able to locate the suspect and the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft                                                             309 South Medford Drive

Between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M., an unknown actor removed a mobile telephone from a locker room at Lufkin High School.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he left his mobile telephone in his pants pocket in the locker room while he attended Cross Country Team practice and when he returned, the telephone was missing.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault                                                         2700 Block Paul Avenue

At approximately 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, a known adult female suspect reportedly assaulted a juvenile, female complainant outside of a residence located in the 2700 block of Paul Avenue.  According to the report, the fourteen-year-old complainant reported that the seventeen-year-old suspect pulled her hair and pushed her.  The report stated that no injuries were observed on or reported by the complainant or the suspect but, at the request of the complainant's parents, a report was filed regarding Assault, a Class C Misdemeanor offense, and the incident was referred for further investigation.
