The Angelina College Lady Roadrunners – surprise! – needed extra innings in yet another game, this time falling 4-3 to Texarkana in the opener of Wednesday's doubleheader in Texarkana.

            But the Lady ‘Runners (11-7) bounced back to take the nightcap 4-2 over the Lady Bulldogs.

            At LaGrave Stadium in Fort Worth, the Roadrunner baseball team split with North Central in an unscheduled doubleheader, taking the opener 4-2 before falling 5-2 in the late game.

            The Lady Roadrunnners will travel to Blinn on Wednesday for a twinbill scheduled for a 2 p.m. start, and the Roadrunners will host Wharton on Wednesday for a pair of games set for a 3 p.m. start.
