NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police have arrested a man from Somalia who they say threatened to kill a co-worker and "blow up" the Pilgrim's Pride plant, where he worked.
The Nacogdoches County Jail confirmed Mohamed Hashi's bond is set at $1,500. He is also being detained with an Immigrations, Customs and Enforcement hold, which means he could face a deportation hearing.
According to an arrest affidavit, the victim said Hashi, 33, of Nacogdoches, told him how he hated Americans and that he was going to kill him. The victim said Hashi was standing next to him with a pair of scissors in a threatening manner.
Friday's police report stated that Hashi also threatened to "blow up" the Pilgrim's Pride plant.
