→Oklahoma State's Julie Ward and Anna Whiddon were named the Big 12 Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week. Ward, a sophomore first baseman, hit .500. She had four doubles, two home runs and 10 RBIs. Whiddon is a senior pitcher who went 4-0 with wins over No. 11 Oklahoma, No. 14 Louisville, North Texas and Nevada.
