3/11/10 Lufkin Police report

 

Criminal Mischief                             700 Block Joyce Lane

At approximately 2:15 A.M. on Friday, March 12, 2010, unidentified suspects broke six windows of a residence located in the 700 block of Joyce Lane.  According to the report, two adults were inside of the residence at the time the damage occurred but each stated that they did not witness the damage occurring.  The report stated that this incident may be connected to a similar incident that occurred at a residence located on Nash Road.  According to the report, the Joyce Lane incident was referred for further investigation and the Nash Road incident was reported to Angelina County Sheriff's Office.

 

Burglary/Habitation                        2400 Block West Frank Avenue

Between the hours of 3:30 P.M. and 10:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized an apartment located in the 2400 block of West Frank Avenue.  According to the report, the actor(s) entered the apartment through an unlocked window and a television and laptop computer were among the items removed from the residence. The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Theft/C                1600 Block South First Street

At approximately 6:45 P.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, an unidentified suspect stole merchandise from a business located in the 16700 block of South First Street.  According to the report, an employee of the store placed the item on the store's cash register counter and the suspect removed the removed the item from its packaging and exited the store without making payment.  The report stated that the store employee provided a description of the suspect and the suspect's vehicle, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Harassment        800 Block Circle Drive

At approximately 6:45 P.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, a female complainant reported that a known female suspect had made repeated harassing telephone calls to her mobile telephone.  According to the report, the complainant informed the suspect that the calls were unwanted and requested that the suspect discontinue the calls but the suspect refused to comply.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Credit Card Abuse                           1700 Block North Timberland Drive

Between the hours of 12:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, an unidentified suspect fraudulently used a complainant's credit card to make multiple purchased at area stores.  According to the report, witnesses at the stores where the fraudulent transactions occurred each described the suspect as being a short, black, female subject with a discolored front tooth, who was driving a grey-in-color Honda vehicle.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Terroristic Threat                             1900 Block South First Street

At approximately 3:30 on Thursday, March 11, 2010, two known male suspects reportedly threatened to cause damage to a business located in the 1900 block of South First Street.  According to the report, the suspects are friends of an employee of the business and the threats were made in connection with problems between the employee and another employee of the business.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Theft/B                2100 Block Wood Street

Between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) stole a cutting torch set from outside of a residence located in the 2100 block of Wood Street.  According to the report, the complainant named a possible suspect and the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Criminal Mischief                             1100 Block Paul Avenue

At approximately 2:10 P.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, a known female suspect damaged a window of a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Paul Avenue.  According to the report, the suspect threw a bottle at the vehicle, breaking a rear passenger window, and then fled the area.  The report stated that the suspect was located and issued a Criminal Trespass Warning form for the incident location, and the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Criminal Mischief                             700 Block Wilson Street

Between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) damaged a vehicle parked in the 700 block of Wilson Street.  According to the report, the actor(s) broke all of the vehicle's windows, exterior mirrors, headlamps, and tail lamps.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Burglary/Vehicle                              200 Block South Timberland Drive

At approximately 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle parked in the 200 block of South Timberland Drive.  According to the report, the actor(s) the complainant stated that she left vehicle unlocked and the vehicle's engine while she delivered clothes to her husband.  The report stated that the actor(s) removed a laptop computer from the vehicle and the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Harassment        3300 Block Lotus Lane

At approximately 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, a known suspect made threats by telephone against a complainant's property.  According to the report, the female complainant stated that, during a telephone conversation, the father of her child threatened to damage her residence.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Criminal Mischief                             2800 Block Atkinson Drive

At approximately 1:30 A.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) damaged a window of a business located in the 2800 block of Paul Avenue.  According to the report, the actor(s) threw a piece of concrete at the business, breaking a window.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
