3/15 Lufkin Police report

Theft, 900 Block South Medford Drive: At approximately 12:45 A.M. on Monday, March 15, 2010, an unidentified suspect stole beer from a business located in the 900 block of South Medford Drive.  According to the report, a black, male suspect wearing a tan jacket and a white-in-color baseball cap removed from the store two, thirty-count packages of beer without making payment and then fled the area in a brown-in-color vehicle.  The report stated that the suspect's actions were captured by the business' security video camera system and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Burglary/Vehicle, 300 Block Montrose Street: Between the hours of 7:30 P.M. and 11:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 14, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Montrose Street.  According to the report, the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by the vehicle's window and then removed a radar detector, a digital camera, and a necklace.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Criminal Mischief, 300 Block Davis Street: At approximate 8:20 P.M. on Sunday, March 14, 2010, a known female suspect damaged a vehicle parked in the 300 block of Davis Street.  According to the report, the complainant's wife, from whom, he is separated and divorcing, used a concrete block to break the windshield of the complainant's vehicle.  The report stated that the suspect fled the area prior to the arrival of Lufkin Police Department Officers and the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Criminal Mischief, 300 Block Champions Drive: At approximately 7:35 P.M. on Sunday, March 14, 2010, a juvenile suspect damaged a vehicle in the 300 block of Champions Drive.  According to the report, the suspect fired a BB gun at the vehicle as it drove passed him and then the suspect fled the area when the complainant stopped the vehicle.  The report stated that two juvenile witnesses provided responding Lufkin Police Department Officers the name of the suspect but the Officers were unable to locate the suspect, and the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Criminal Mischief, 1400 Block Mathews Street: At approximately 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 14, 2010, a known suspect reportedly damaged a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Mathews Street.  According to the report, a female suspect kicked the complainant's vehicle, causing a dent to the fender.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Assault, 1400 Block Mathews Street: At approximately 2:25 P.M. on Sunday, March 14, 2010, a known suspect reportedly assaulted a complainant at a residence located in the 1400 block of Mathews Street.  According to the report, a female suspect knocked a telephone from a female complainant's hand.  The report stated that the complainant did not display visible injuries and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

 

Criminal Mischief, 300 Block Finley Avenue: Between the hours of 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 and 9:00 A.M. on Sunday, March 14, 2010, an unknown actor damaged a window of a business located in the 300 block of Finley Avenue.  According to the report, the actor used a piece of asphalt to break the window and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Theft, 804 North Timberland Drive: At approximately 5:30 A.M. on Sunday, March 14, 2010, an unidentified suspect stole beer from a business located in the 800 block of North Timberland Drive.  According to the report, a black, male suspect wearing a white-in-color shirt, blue jean pants, and a white-in-color baseball cap removed from the store two, thirty-count packages of beer without making payment and then fled the area on foot.  The report stated that the suspect's actions were captured by the business' security video camera system and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
