3/16/10 Lufkin Police report

 

Burglary/Habitation,  300 Block South John Redditt Drive: Between 11:30 P.M. on Monday, March 15 and 12:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a residence located in to 300 block of South John Redditt Drive.  According to the report, the actor(s) entered the unsecured apartment and removed a laptop computer.  The report stated that the resident was away from home at the time of the burglary and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Assault, 2600 Block South First Street: At approximately 11:00 P.M. on Monday, March 15, 2010, a complainant reported that her ex-boyfriend assaulted her at her apartment located in the 2600 block of South First Street.  According to the report, the complainant and suspect were at separate locations when they spoke with Lufkin Police Department Officers and the complainant stated that the suspect held her to her bed and punched her arms and torso but the suspect stated that the complainant hit him and that he held her arms to restrain her.  The report stated that a witness reported that she heard a female yelling and then sounds of a disturbance, and then she observed the suspect running from the apartment while the complainant yelled profanities at the suspect.  According to the report, the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Robbery, 1100 Block California Boulevard: At approximately 10:30 P.M. on Monday, March 15, 2010, a complainant reported that two suspects robbed him in the 1100 block of California Boulevard.  According to the report, the complainant stated that two black, male suspects choked him and removed cash from his wallet before fleeing the area on foot.  The report stated that the complainant recognized one of the suspects as being someone he once worked with and that the complainant would be able to determine the suspect's name by contacting his former employer.  The report stated that Lufkin Police Department Officers did not locate the suspects and the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Theft, 900 Block South Second Street: At approximately 4:00 P.M. on Monday, March 15, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) stole tools from the bed of a truck parked in the 900 block of South Second Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he was performing work inside of an apartment and when he returned to his vehicle to retrieve tools, the tools were missing.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Burglary/Habitation, 600 Block Harmony Hill Drive: Between the hours of 11:00 A.M. and 2:30 P.M. on Monday, March 15, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a residence located in the 600 block of Harmony Hill Drive.  According to the report, the actor(s) forced entry into the residence's laundry room and stole a washing machine and clothes dryer.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 

Criminal Mischief, 500 Block Hill Street: Between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 15, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) damaged a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Hill Street.  According to the report, the actor(s) used a rock to break the vehicle's window but the complainant stated that nothing was stolen from within the vehicle.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
